Extraordinary tableware for everyday life

Setting up The Table, together with business partner Stephan Zeijlemaker, gave me the opportunity to build an online B2C brand from scratch. The Table offers all ingredients to set a beautiful table for a special occasion, but also to enjoy your cup of tea-moment. I built an assortment to encourage all kinds of mixing and matching. Beautiful basics that look even better in combinations, from harmonious to contrasting.

Inspiring customers to mix ‘n match

Customers can select their preferred personal combination or style their table to suit the day’s mood. Or buy two extra bowls in a new colour that will always match with the existing colours. The Table even promotes combining old items (the stuff you already have or found at a vintage market) with new ones. Personal and sustainable. I consistently created images, graphics and videos to convey this philosophy and inspire customers.

The Team at The Table

The team at The Table consisted of founding partner Stephan Zeijlemaker and me in Amsterdam (image to the right). Our production partners were essential in bringing the concept to life. The video above highlights our close collaboration with one of them: the ceramics tableware makers in Thailand.
After the first few years of establishing the brand Clip Quality Brands added The Table to their portfolio and now continues our journey.
